Genmaicha translates to "brown rice tea". It is a green tea with roasted brown rice and sometimes called "popcorn" tea since some rice kernels pop during processing. It has a natural sweetness and toasty, nutty flavor. A good cup of green tea promotes relaxation as well as being full of antioxidants that are said to help boost the immune system, help with hypertension and have other health benefits.
